headshot_2014_NGLisa Doyle is a communications manager and freelance writer based in the Chicago area. A graduate of Miami University, she spent several years editing business-to-business publications for the personal care industry before moving to the nonprofit sector, and currently works in advocacy for homeless families at Bridge Communities. Her writing has appeared in Writer’s Digest, The NaNoWriMo Blog, Global Cosmetic Industry, Skin Inc, Salon Today, Modern Salon, Renew, Suburban Life and the essay collection Women Reinvented: True Stories of Empowerment and Change (LaChance Publishing, 2010). Her fiction debut, Milked, was published by Simon & Fig in November 2014.     Would love to know what got you interested in a topic such as wet-nursing in today’s age. I posted about your book (haven’t read it yet but am interested!!) on the closed FB group Breastfeed, Chicago. It is a large 8,000 plus member group that offers info and mom to mom breastfeeding advice, support etc. Good luck to you! Gina (Miami ’98!!)
